Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County in Colorado are great places to live, work, retire and play.

I've lived and worked in Pagosa for the last 12 years. Originally, I came here through my job as the Rocky Mountain Regional Director for Habitat for Humanity. My wife and I wanted to move our kids out of Denver and into a smaller town. Pagosa was the place we chose.

My special interests are energy efficiency, passive solar, maintenance free design and the proper location of a home to maximize energy efficiency and quality of life.

I've visited South and Central America, and for the past 15 years, I've served as a Board Member for El Porvenir, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit group that educates in rural Nicaragua on water, sanitation, reforestation, and health. I'm one of the few Realtors in Pagosa that speaks Spanish, and I speak it reasonably well.

My desire is to help you buy, sell or trade for what you and your family want and need at a fair price and within a reasonable time frame.

Buying: There are many properties for sale, and many Realtors to choose from. My job is to listen closely to what you want, and then, through my knowledge of the market, help you find the right home, land or commercial property. I will put my energy and knowledge to work for you.

Selling: It's hard to leave a home that you love; however, our needs change as we go through life. As the kids grow, we need a larger home, and later in life, a smaller, maintenance-free one is just ideal. Sometimes job opportunities move us out of the area.

I'm committed to working with you to establish a fair and workable price, one that will bring you top dollar, yet not leave it on the market for an extended period of time. I can give you tips on how to make the home “show room perfect”, but allow you to still live your life and enjoy your home. I will go the extra mile for you and be honest as we decide on a listing price, terms and market strategy.
